MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Focus on Finance with Wayne Clark
This leadership workshop with Wayne Clark will be held at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando, 1901 East Robinson Street , Orlando Florida 32803 .
Wayne B. Clark is the UUA's Director of Congregational Fundraising Services. He has been associated with program for the past ten years. Wayne earned a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems and brings a comprehensive systemic approach to guiding and coaching congregations through all aspects of their fundraising efforts.
This is a great opportunity for congregational leaders to get some ideas on how to inspire generosity and fund dreams plus get advice and tools to help with the financial side of leadership.
The workshop will include:
• The ministry of funding Unitarian Universalism.
• The Ministry we do with the money we raise.
And will answer the questions:
• "What difference will it make if I make this contribution?"
• “What difference will it make if we raise this money?”
• “Why are we asking folks to contribute to our UU congregations over and against American Red Cross, Save the Children, PBS, ACLU, Audubon, etc?”
• “What difference will it make if we raise inadequate funds for our congregations? or adequate funds? or how much do we have to raise to make a difference through our congregations?”
He will cover the Nuts and Bolts of:
• Asking – they won’t give if we don’t ask
• Logistics
• Timing
